The Nelson Cobb estate owned the 69.62 acres at the northeast corner of Busbee Parkway and Big Shanty Road, just north of Town Center Mall, for over 50 years. The owners were pleased that the property which had been in their family for so many years could be used by the University for much needed campus expansion.
